💁 New role: Legal Counsel
💻 Format: full time, 5/2, office, Cyprus (relocation package available)
🎯 Responsibilities:
- Support the incorporation, administration, restructuring, and ongoing maintenance of legal entities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Prepare and maintain corporate documentation, including resolutions, powers of attorney, and statutory records.
- Coordinate the opening and ongoing maintenance of corporate bank accounts, payment accounts, and merchant accounts, including preparing KYC/KYB documentation and liaising with banks, (PSPs), and other financial institutions.
- Provide legal support for relationships with PSPs, acquirers, and other payment partners, including reviewing and negotiating agreements and assessing legal and regulatory requirements for payment solutions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents.
- Draft, review, and update B2C platform documentation, including Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policies, Responsible Gaming Policies, and AML/KYC policies.
- Assist with selected gaming licensing matters, including preparing corporate and supporting documentation, coordinating submissions and renewals, and liaising with licensing advisers and authorities as needed.
- Conduct legal research and monitor relevant developments in corporate, gambling, financial services, data protection, and commercial regulations across the jurisdictions in which the business operates.
- Provide day-to-day legal support across corporate, commercial, payments, and regulatory matters for an international iGaming business.
✅ Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Law.
- 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably in iGaming or another international business with cross-border corporate and payment operations.
- Hands-on experience with offshore corporate structures and the administration of legal entities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Practical experience opening and maintaining corporate bank, payment, and merchant accounts, including handling KYC/KYB requests and coordinating with financial institutions.
- Experience working with PSPs and other payment partners.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and contract law, with the ability to research and navigate regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions.
- Experience drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, corporate documents, and customer-facing platform documentation.
- Excellent legal drafting skills in English and Russian, English proficiency at B2–C1 level or above, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- A proactive, practical approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment.
