INEX Group is a real estate development and construction group of companies delivering residential and commercial projects across Cyprus. We manage the full project lifecycle — from land acquisition and design to construction and delivery. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Deputy CFO to join our Finance team in Paphos. This is a senior finance role combining financial management, cash flow oversight, financial analysis and stakeholder reporting. Working closely with the CFO, you will support the coordination of financial activities across the Group, oversee key financial processes and provide management, investors and business partners with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the CFO in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the Group
- Coordinate financial processes and cash flows across Group companies, ensuring effective allocation and availability of funds
- Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting and liquidity management
- Develop and maintain financial models for existing and potential projects and investments
- Monitor financial and project performance against budgets, forecasts and financial models, identifying and explaining key variances
- Analyse project and investment performance, including cash flow, profitability, returns and key financial indicators
- Prepare financial and analytical reports for investors and business partners, providing clear insights to support decision-making
- Prepare and analyse management reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Coordinate with accounting and finance teams across the Group to ensure accuracy, consistency and timely availability of financial information
- Work closely with development, sales and operational teams on financial matters and project performance
- Support the CFO and management in evaluating strategic initiatives, investments and business opportunities
- Support audit processes, reconciliations and preparation of required financial information and documentation
- Act as a key point of contact on financial matters in the CFO’s absence
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in financial management, corporate finance, financial controlling or a similar senior finance role
- Experience managing or coordinating financial processes across multiple companies or business units
- Strong hands-on experience in cash flow planning, forecasting and liquidity management
- Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Experience preparing financial and analytical reporting for senior management, investors or business partners
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights and recommendations
- Strong understanding of Cyprus accounting and financial reporting requirements
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent written and spoken English and Russian are mandatory
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
- Experience in real estate, construction or engineering businesses would be an advantage
